Important Summer Housing Dates:

Early Arrival:
Friday June 19, 2020

Students traveling far distances (i.e. internationally or from the west coast) in need of housing on Friday, June 19th must complete the Early Arrival Form by Saturday, June 13th. The payment must be made through your risdbucks account. Instructions on making the payment is on the electronic Early Arrival Form sent to you by Residence Life.

Check-In + Mandatory Meetings

Pre-College & Summer Studies Move-in:
Saturday June 20, 2020
9:00am - 2:30pm

Pre-College Student Orientation: Saturday, June 20, 3:00pm - 5:00pm and Sunday, June 21, 12:30pm - 4:00pm

Pre-College Residence Hall Floor Meeting: Saturday June 20, 7:00pm

Check-Out

Final Move-out Deadline:
Saturday August 1, 2020 12:00pm
No students can stay beyond noon.

Pre-College Weekend Away

A Pre-College student may leave the RISD campus unaccompanied for one overnight visit only on a Friday and/or Saturday (“weekend”) night for the entire program, and only with prior permission from their parent/guardian, and the Residence Life Office. Parents and guardians will need to complete a Weekend Away Form with Residence Life in advance.
